Gas-fired reversible absorption heat pump unit for production of hot water up to 60 °C and cold water to 3 °C, using renewable energy with heating efficiency over 140%.
Advantages:
• Extremely high energy efficiency: the GAHP-AR unit provides efficiency over 140%, saving up to 40% in running costs compared to the best gas boilers, by means of recovering 35% of the energy from renewable source (air). It is therefore the best heating system for improving the energy efficiency of buildings.
• With a single machine and single system it is also possible to provide air conditioning, burning fuel gas.
• 86% reduction in electrical power requirement (0.9 kWe per 35.3 kW of heating output or 16.9 kW of cooling output), compared with traditional electrical systems, since the primary energy source is fuel gas.
• Stable operation, even at very low outside temperatures: even at temperatures as low as –20 °C the GAHP-AR unit still provides efficiency of over 100%, and is therefore suitable for use in extremely cold regions.
