Robur GAHPs for cost and energy savings

- GAHP technology can provide significant savings 40% on heating costs (1).  For instance, using up to 40% of renewable energy, the air-water source GAHP may achieve efficiency over 165% while the ground source GAHP may achieve efficiency over 170% (2).

- High efficiency makes GAHP a smart and beneficial investment with a payback time of 2 to 4 years.

- With ground source GAHPs, the reduction in investment costs for geothermal  boreholes can be higher than 60% in comparison to electric heat pumps.

- With reversible GAHPs, only 1/10 of electric power is required for heating and cooling in comparison to electric heat pumps.

- Constant performance and high efficiency are ensured, even at low ambient temperatures with significant savings on heating costs.
Furthermore, back-up heating systems and integration with other equipment are not required.

Back to Reasons for a choice

(1) All data are tested by certificates and approvals from ENEA for Italy, DVGW-Forschungsstelle and VDE for Germany, California Energy Commission for USA. Report of ENEA, the Italian Authority for new Technologies, Energy and the Environment: “Peak values of GAHP’s are very high thus leading to energy savings 50-60% higher than high efficiency gas boilers and 40% higher than condensing boilers.”

(2) GAHP units, using up to 40% renewable energy (air, water, ground), are recognized by RES - Renewable Energy Source - Directive.
