Customer satisfaction, the reduction of environmental impacts and work-related risks are among the key objectives that Robur S.p.A. pursues through the continual improvement of its processes.
Quality Policy
Senior Management is committed to creating the conditions in which all employees, regardless of their level of responsibility, can work towards overall Quality. This concept extends beyond product quality to include the quality of work, the working environment and human relationships, encouraging the development of dynamic, proactive people who contribute to the growth of the company.
Robur S.p.A. has drawn inspiration from the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM), whose approach has shaped the design of the company’s key process network, the identification of Process Owners and the assessment of the effectiveness of the Management System.
In accordance with these guiding principles and applicable legislation, the Senior Management of Robur S.p.A. is committed to establishing, implementing and maintaining this Quality Policy so that it:
- is appropriate to the purpose and context of the organisation and supports its strategic direction;
- provides a consistent framework for Senior Management to set quality objectives;
- maintains a strong focus on meeting applicable legal and product requirements, as well as the expectations of relevant interested parties;
- acts as a driver and point of reference for the continual improvement of the Quality Management System, towards which the company’s activities must always be directed.
To this end, Senior Management is committed to:
- maintaining a constant focus on the continual improvement of customer satisfaction;
- continually improving both products and the company’s overall performance, based on the analysis of data and information;
- increasing supplier involvement in order to build collaborative relationships based on shared objectives of Quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
Health & Safety Policy
Robur S.p.A. is committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment at all company sites and to implementing appropriate preventive measures to reduce the risks of accidents and injuries arising from work activities and company infrastructure, minimising risks associated with the working environment.
For this policy to be effective, it is essential that:
- it is established on the basis of an analysis of the organisation’s context, the external and internal factors identified, and the expectations and needs of internal and external interested parties;
- applicable legal requirements and other requirements identified by the organisation as compliance obligations are met;
- health and safety considerations are treated as essential from the earliest stages of defining new activities or reviewing existing ones. A proactive approach must be taken, integrating health and safety procedures throughout every stage of project development, technical service and the production cycle, supported by the continual improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System;
- the entire organisation contributes, in accordance with individual roles and responsibilities, to achieving the health and safety objectives assigned. Managers must be empowered to provide leadership through clearly defined responsibilities and must have the appropriate resources and authority to achieve the required objectives. All workers must participate and be consulted on occupational health and safety decisions, including through their representatives;
- potential emergencies or crises are identified in advance so that appropriate response measures can be planned. Accidents and occupational diseases must be prevented by identifying potential areas of risk and monitoring their development in order to continually improve health and safety performance;
- the ability of contractors and suppliers to deliver services in accordance with our health and safety standards is monitored and used as a key criterion when selecting our business partners.
Environmental Policy
Robur S.p.A. seeks to pass on its Ecological Conscience to future generations by operating within an industrial context focused on the continual improvement of its environmental performance and by offering technologies designed to support the efficient use of energy resources.
The Environmental Policy sets out the values that guide the company’s approach to environmental matters. It commits the organisation to achieving consistent and continual improvement in its environmental performance through the systematic assessment of the environmental effects of its activities and the definition of improvement objectives, with the aim of managing and minimising the risks associated with the company’s activities, products and services and helping to protect the ecosystem in which we live.
Senior Management establishes, implements and maintains this Environmental Policy, which, within its defined scope:
- takes into account the context of the organisation, including the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services;
- provides Senior Management with a framework for setting environmental objectives;
- maintains an ongoing commitment to environmental protection, including the prevention of pollution and other specific commitments relevant to the context of the organisation;
- maintains an ongoing commitment to meeting its compliance obligations, including legal requirements and those arising from the expectations and needs of relevant interested parties;
- is focused on the continual improvement of the Environmental Management System in order to enhance the environmental performance of the company’s activities.
For this policy to be effective, it is therefore essential to:
- assess and control the environmental effects of activities that may affect the environment;
- assess in advance the potential environmental effects of all new activities, products and processes;
- adopt the measures necessary to reduce negative environmental impacts, with particular attention to preventive measures designed to address potential adverse effects arising from emergency situations;
- optimise the consumption of natural resources;
- implement measures to ensure that all suppliers and partners working on behalf of Robur S.p.A. give due consideration to environmental protection, giving preference to suppliers and subcontractors whose management practices are consistent with the objectives of this Environmental Policy.
