				Customer Needs
The Luozhuang residential complex is a 38,000 m² condominium located in Liaocheng, Shandong Province. Hot water for the central heating system is supplied by a hybrid setup of gas boilers, gas absorption heat pumps, and electric heat pumps—designed to reduce emissions, improve system efficiency, and lower energy costs.
Robur Solution
20 GAHP A gas absorption heat pumps were installed, integrated with gas boilers and electric heat pumps.
Advantages
- The heating system uses 227,800 kWh of renewable energy annually, saving around 42,530 m3 of gas.
 - The modular setup enhances flexibility and operational reliability, adapting thermal output to real-time load demands and simplifying maintenance planning.
 - The 20 heat pumps require just 17 kW of electrical power, saving approximately 260 kW compared to a fully electric solution, which would have required a major substation upgrade.
 - Robur's gas absorption technology remains efficient even at outdoor temperatures as low as -30°C, ensuring uninterrupted performance in extreme cold.
 - CO2 emissions are reduced by 77 tonnes per year.
